How do I get started as a client?
-After the initial contact with JOA you will get email invite to PetPocketbook. Once your profile is filled out call, text, or email for a Meet & Greet.

Is JOA insured?
-Yes, we are insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Do I have to fill out the PetPocketbook profile?
-Yes! Crys and Joni both need access to your pet’s information in case we need to cover for the other.

What is the best way to request service?
-The best way is to request service through PetPocketbook

How will I know if I am booked?
-You will receive an email confirmation from PetPocketbook. Please keep in mind
you are not booked until you get that email confirmation.

Do you accept last minute bookings?
-Yes subject to availability.

Is there an extra fee for last minute bookings?
-No, we do not charge an extra fee for last minute bookings.

Does you JOA take pets in their home?
-No we do not do boarding.

Do you do behavior modification?
-No we are not dog/cat trainers.

What type of payment to you accept?
-We accept cash, check, Venmo or pay through PetPocketbook.

Do you provide visits longer than 20 or 45 minutes?
– Yes, based on availability and will be priced accordingly.

Who will be coming to my house?
-Crys and Joni are the only two that will be there for a visit or stay at your house. You will meet both of us before either of us stay to make sure you are 100% comfortable with us.

What happens during bad weather?
-If the weather is too hot and/or humid or too cold, we will take your pet out for a potty break then spend the rest of the time playing with or loving on your pet depending on your pet’s preference. If the roads are impassable we ask that you note in your profile an emergency contact that can help with your pet. We make every effort to take care of your pet but we need to be safe as well. If we have to cancel the visit cancellation fees will not apply.

Is there an extra charge for Holidays?
-There is no extra charge for Holidays.

Do you administer medication?
-Yes, details need to be discuss at Meet & Greet.

Do you do Pack Walks or Off-leash walks?
-No, for the safety of all parties involved we only do private leashed walks.
