- Walks are 20, 30 or 45 minutes. All dogs will be leashed and we refrain from socialization for their safety.
- Time-frames for visits will be given at least a two hour window unless your pet is on medication that requires a certain time for administering.
- All PetPocketbook profiles must be filled out completely in order for us to provide service. Failure to do so will result in decline of booking until your profile has been filled.
- All pets must be up-to-date on their vaccines.
- All booking and cancellation must go through PetPocketbook. Texting, emailing, messaging, phone calls or other forms of communication to check our availability does not guarantee a booking or cancellation Bookings will be confirmed by an email from PetPocketbook.
- Last minute bookings are based upon our availability.
- If you or your pet shows signs of illness please inform JOA prior to our visit.
- No every other day visits for vacation visits.
- Although we will allow shared visits, JOA will not be held responsible for any damage done.
- A finance charge of $25 will be added to unpaid balances after four weeks.
- A handling fee of $35 will be charged on all returned checks.
- The cancellation fee is as follows:
-For walks within 48 hours will be 50% of the fee; within 24 hours will be 100% of the fee
-For overnight pet care or vacation visits within 7 days will be 30% of the total fee; within 5 days will be 50% of the total fee; with in 3 days will be 100% of the total fee - Any time a pet is added to the family we need to do a Meet & Greet before we can provide service.
- No Guaranteed Sitter-Crys and Joni are interchangeable for pet care and when booking with JOA either one is subject to the booking. You may request either Cryst or Joni specifically, but the request is not guaranteed.
- For the safety of your pets and JOA please remove all snow and ice from the entrances as well as stairs and walkways you have designated for JOA to use. If the designated entrance is not able to be cleared please provide for us an alternative entrance so we can bring your pets in and out safely. If we deem the entrance unsafe you will be charged for the full price for the visit.
- In the event of inclement weather we will make every effort to take care of your pet, however if the roads are impassable or a State of Emergency is issued please have an emergency contact to step in.
- In extreme weather, too hot or too cold, we will take dogs out for a potty break then inside for games.
